The Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education is a 15-credit certificate for nurses who have earned an advanced degree and would like to acquire knowledge and practice in nursing education. Designed for the working professional's convenience, courses are taught in a "hybrid" format - a combination of in-class and online learning. Students can expect to attend approximately six classes during each 12-week term, while simultaneously completing coursework online. Students may attend classes at the University's College of Graduate & Professional Studies centers in Manchester, Portsmouth, or Lebanon, N.H. A Track 1 student can complete the M.S.N. in approximately 24 months of full-time study. Many working nurses opt for part-time study so they can continue to meet their current responsibilities and maintain family life.
